While JENNIFER ZAHN was selected as the Olivia Nevins Customer Service Award winner for this year after receiving two nominations, we had some amazing, talented, and highly valued employees who were also nominated.

CHARWIN NAH, a General Clerk II, who works for GTI Federal at the National Defense University, was nominated for this year's award for his "continued efforts to aid in streamlining the application process and reducing wait time for students to be accepted and to, and enrolled in classes."  Charwin has been described as the most dependable person in the office in terms of handling student issues and providing a consistent, positive, and respectful message in an ever-changing atmosphere.

ERIK SAULKALNS, a Web Software Developer, who works on the EIA Support Team in Washington, DC is recognized for his consistently exemplary body of work at EIA.  Erik has been a mentor for his co-workers, assisting in transitioning new co-workers to the program.  Erik consistently goes beyond his routine scope of work in providng support to the User Services Center help desk.  He has stepped in to backfill for a Federal worker who switched jobs.  His team spirit prevented an additional burden to our customer while the position was vacant.

RAY KENNERSON, a Field Technician at NASA Johnson Space Flight Center, was nominated for the Olivia Nevins Award for "consistently going above and beyond to ensure HPES and NASA's needs are met."  He has been described as a self-starter, and according to David Lockhard, he has earned the respect of his HP and NASA peer group.  Ray has created processes which enable the maximum customer experience, while ensuring ACES Service Level Agreements and the efficiency of the process is still the primary drive.  Mr. Lockard says, "Ray is consistently one of the best performing members of the ACES team!"

While only one Olivia Nevins Award is presented each year, GTI Federal is extremely proud of all of our nominees and all of our staff.  Each nominee has been presented with a Silver Star Award and a monetary demonstration of our gratitude and admiration for their work and efforts in supporting GTI Federal and the respective program missions to which they are attached.
