PAID TIME OFF – Paid Time Off is offered to full-time employees and accrues from the first day of employment.

HOLIDAYS – GTI Federal provides 8 hours of holiday pay for 10 Federal Holidays including New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day.

BEREAVEMENT AND JURY DUTY LEAVE – Bereavement leave and Jury Duty leave are granted to employees in accordance with our company policies.

TUITION ASSISTANCE AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT – Employees are encouraged to be life-long learners and to continue to enhance their value through coursework at accredited colleges and universities.  Reimbursement is based on the relevance to the employee’s current position and the enhancement of performance.  Vocational and professional training courses or programs may also be funded through this benefit for employees to attend seminars, conferences, obtain certifications and licensure and to assist with memberships that are relevant to their current position.

RETIREMENT – GTI offers participation in Traditional and ROTH 401(k) programs to enable employees to invest in their future. Employees are eligible for a generous company matching contribution through our Safe Harbor plan.

MEDICAL INSURANCE – Employees are offered a choice of several unique health insurance plans tailored to meet the individual needs of the employee and their dependents based on geographic location.  Each healthcare plan includes prescription drug coverage.  Plan selections include HMO, PPO and POS plans.

DENTAL INSURANCE – Dental insurance plans include coverage for dental providers both in and out of our provider network.  Plans offer options to tailor coverage to the individual needs of the employee and their dependents and include orthodonture benefits.

VISION INSURANCE – Our vision plan is a supplemental policy available to employees at their own expense. The plan is comprehensive with coverage for in and out of network providers.  Our vision coverage offers both a Davis Vision discount and a VSP discount plan.

FLEXIBLE SPENDING ACCOUNTS – Employees are offered flexible spending options for Medical/Dental Out-of- Pocket Expenses and Dependent Care Expenses.  Expenses can be conveniently managed utilizing the FSA Debit Card.

LIFE INSURANCE AND ACCIDENTAL DEATH & DISMEMBERMENT COVERAGE – Company provided term life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment coverage is available to employees immediately upon hire. Life insurance is a portable coverage that employees may continue after separating from the company.

SUPPLEMENTAL SHORT-TERM DISABILITY INSURANCE – is offered with coverage units determined by the employee. This insurance enables employees to protect their income in the event of injury or sickness.

EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM – We proudly offer a free, confidential employee assistance program to GTI Federal employees. The service offers counseling and advisory services to assist employees and their family members in dealing with problems including legal/financial difficulties, substance abuse, career issues and emotional stress. The program offers referrals for education, legal services and financial planning.
